Akira Amano and his message to everyone:
I’d like to talk about my ideology of building houses after I went through my past experience and lessons.
I am an Architect who designs houses.
First of all, I strongly believe that both time and house are coexisting.
The house is like an umbrella: It is there to protect family.
The house is like a theater: There is always family drama is going on.
If family doesn’t take serious about “Home” rarely good houses will be built.
Building a house is “the chance” to re-think about what family should be once in a lifetime, it is very important.
People who will be living in the house are the main character of houses that I design.
I can only help about 30 houses per year, but each house has a unique theme.
House is like a person: Each of them is different and each family establishes their own environment.
I design houses that are suitable for each family just like, “Auto couture” of Architecture
